LPW Technology is extending its partnership base in Europe and North Africa to further support its customers. AMA Services, located in Paris, will represent LPW in France, Luxemburg, French speaking regions of Switzerland and Belgium, and Tunisia and Morocco.

LPW is the market leader in the development, processing and supply of high quality metal powders and powder management products for the Additive Manufacturing (AM) industry. Together with AMA Services, which has a wealth of experience with metal alloy materials in the aerospace, IGT and medical sectors, among others, LPW will offer a comprehensive range of powders, expert technical support and proactive customer service across these regions.

Over the last 5 years LPW has significantly developed its capability to process the full range of AM metal powders, including Aluminum, Nickel, Steel, Cobalt, and Titanium alloys, all supplied to quality management standards AS 9120, AS 9100 and ISO 13485 and dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of order. To enable its customers to reap the benefits of powder reuse and powder traceability, LPW has developed the PowderLife range of powder management software, sensors, and hoppers.

Demonstrating its metal expertise, AMA Services has represented US investment casting company Cannon-Muskegon as European executive agent and distributor for many years. With a fully-equipped warehouse, certified by Bureau Veritas to ISO 9001 and ISO 9120 for the distribution of superalloys, AMA Services provides a complete service including deliveries, customs clearances and technical support.

LPW’s Sales Director, Mike Ford, comments, “This is an excellent opportunity for LPW to work with a knowledgeable and professional partner to support our clients, both current and new. Our companies will work together to exceed customers’ expectations through short lead times, a comprehensive range of premium materials for aerospace and defence, and outstanding service and technical support.’

AMA’s President, Mr Jean-Francois Donchery, says, “Adding LPW’s high-quality metal powders and solutions to our portfolio enables us to offer a complete package to our AM customers. With French safety-critical industries integrating AM technologies into their production cycles, the market is growing rapidly. Partnership with LPW allows us to provide competitive and effective products and services to support these sectors from our Paris-based facilities.”
