An ASTM International roundtable discussion on Mechanical Behavior of Additive Manufactured Components will be held May 5, 2016, at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
The planned discussion is a supplement to the workshop on Mechanical Behavior of Additive Manufactured Components taking place May 4 at the same location. ASTM International Committees E07 on Nondestructive Testing, E08 on Fatigue and Fracture and F42 on Additive Manufacturing Technologies are sponsoring both events.
The roundtable will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas regarding the mechanical behavior of components fabricated using additive manufacturing, with a focus on the development of fatigue-related standards for additive manufacturing.
Online registration opens approximately eight weeks before the workshop and closes April 27.
